Robert Lewandoski Sets Record As Bayern Munich Topped Table
Bayern Munich are back on top of the Bundesliga table after beating promoted Union Berlin 2-1 at home on Saturday. And not only that Bayern are back on top, their player Robert Lewandoski became the first ever player in the history of Bundesliga League to score in each of the first nine games of the season.
Lewandoski previously shared the record with g former Borussia Dortmund forward, now Arsenal player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang,, who scored in the first eight league games of the 2015-16 season.
The Poland striker has also scored in every Champions League as well as German Cup game for his side this season. He’s scored 19 goals in all competitions and 13 league goal which comes in the eight minutes of Saturday’s match against Union Berlin.
