Marcelo Wants To Stay At Real Madrid | Report

Marcelo

According to ESPN, Brazil International Marcelo has no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer despite knowing that Ferland Mendy will be joining Zenedine Zidane’s squad from Lyon, but instead he want to fight for his place.

Mercelo, 31, who joined Madrid in 2017 has won 20 trophies including four Champions Leagues, but fails to reach his best form in 2018-19 which result in him losing his place at one point to youngster Sergio Reguilon.

Reports also have it that Mendy’s signing would not change anything for the Madrid vice-captain, but days ago Marca claims Madrid hierarchy would not stop the Brazilian from leaving this summer.

Speculations have emerged that the player could follow his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. However as it stands Zidane will have four left-backs reporting for preseason, Theo Hernandez, Sergio Reguilon, Mercelo and Mendy.
