Manchester United’s José Mourinho says Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be back on the pitch very soon
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has said that Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are close in returning on the pitch.
Ibrahimovic who suffered a knee ligament during United Europa match again Anderlecht has not played since
April after undergoing knee surgery
while Pogba has missed the last 12
games with a hamstring problem.
Pogba is expected to return to the main group after the international break and for Ibrahimovic he has improved his recovery after seeing him returning to training at Carrington.
And Marcos Rojo, who also suffered a knee ligaments in April could
return to the squad for Newcastle’s
visit to Old Trafford on Nov. 18.
“We have the
group of players which are the ones
that we hope will recover as soon as
possible,” Mourinho told Man United TV.
He believes the player are to be working on a daily bases, “Pogba, Ibra, Rojo, Fellaini. They are
in good positions so I think we can
go into this part of the season, the
Christmas period, and after, in a
United currently have 13 players away in the international break including Nmanja Matic, who is set to fly to the Far
East with Serbia for friendlies against
China and South Korea.
