J. Cole performs “Love Yourz” for Nipsey Hussel at Dreamville Festival

Since the sad news emerged members of the hip-hop community has been paying their tribute to Nipsey Hussel. At J. Cole sold-out Dreamville Festival, the rapper took moment to reflect on the life and legacy of Nip on Saturday night in North Carolina.

Cole told the crowd: “I gotta take time on stage and acknowledge someone who had a huge impact on the community, on the f”ckin world.”

The dedicates his performance “Love Yourz” to Nipsey’s everlasting image of consistency (in character). The track is a song off the “Middle Child” crooner 2014 studio album “Forest Hills Drive” that talks about reflections.

The rapper has first paid tribute to Nip on Twitter, he wrote. “Nipsey you a legend. I respect and admire your career path and what you did for the neighborhood. My heart broke today when I saw the news. I’m praying for your loved ones. This was sposed to be the year we got one in. God had bigger plans for you.
