Wayne Rooney has reached a two year banned from driving
Wayne Rooney has been banned from driving for two years, after he was cut drink driving.
Rooney was also handed 100 hours of unpaid work and twelve months community oder after appearing at Stockport Magistrate Court.
“Following today’s court I unforgivable lack of judgment in driving while over the legal limit, it was completely wrong,” Rooney said in a statement.
“I have already sorry to my family, my manager and chairmain, and everyone else at Everton. Now I want to apologize to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career. Of course I accept the sentence of the court and hpes that I can make some amends through my community service. “

But the jujudge has said that he was not convinced’ that imposing a large fine would have the same effect’.
He was also ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and another £85 for a victim surcharge.
He made no comment as he arrived to be confronted by a media scrum outside the court.
