Alexis Sanchez former coach thinks he will face problem at Arsenal
Alexis Sanchez formformer under-20 coach ,Jose Sulantay, has said that the Chile international will face a serious problem at Arsenal after being denied move to Manchester City and added – the player got fat on his holiday.
Jose, who coached Chile under-20 in 2007 World Cup in Canada has told La Cuarta that the uncertainty surrounding Sanchez’s future had clearly affected is performance on the pitch following Chile 3-0 loss to Paraguay in the World Cup Qualifiers on Thursday.
The game was played hours after the transfer window was closed, with Arsenal turning down Man City offer to buy Sanchez after the Gunners failed to land Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
However, Sanchez will remain at the EmirayesEmirayes till next year even if a deal is to be done.
“Sanchez was more worried about his situation at Arsenal and now that he wasn’t transferred, he will have serious problems,” Jose said. “He brushed off his team-mates by saying that he wanted to go to a club that won things and now he has to return there.
“If he doesn’t perform, the English press will break him just as they did with Claudio Bravo and the team-mates can turn their backs on him.”
Arsene Wenger is confident on the Chile star.
Arswne Wenger believes the 28-year-old will Ber 100 per-cent committed when he returns from the international break – although he looked far from his best in the 4-0 loss to Liverpool.
“I see Sanchez overweight, I see him fat. And a player of his level can not loss his physical condition. But in any case, he was coming from his holidays, being with his girlfriend and having a normal life,” Jose added.
