Anthony Joshua to defend his world heavyweight title against Kubrat Pulev on October 28
Anthony Joshua will defend his world heavyweight championship against Kobrat Pulev at the Principality Stadium Cardiff, on October 28.
The Britain boxer return to the ring since his epic fight with Wladimir Klitschko in front of record breaking attendance of 90.000 at Wembley in April, where he
Added the WBA title to his IBF strap.
Joshua had been pursuing a Las Vegas rematch with Klischko, only for the Ukraine’s boxer to announce his retirement.
Principality Stadium Cardiff, was previously known as Millenniun Stadium – will hold close to 80,000 when AJ faces experienced Pulev and ‘Joshua’ is ready for another big match.
In a press released by Matchroom Boxing AJ said: “October 28 can’t come soon enough. I have been eager to get back in the ring since Wembley and now we are confirmed and ready.
“I’ll will be locked away focusing on fight No. 20 for the next eight weeks. I am excited to experience the atmosphere in a sold out Principality Stadium and aim to give the fans spectacular night.”
Pulev lost his previous heavyweight title to Klitschko in 2014 and look forward to regain the championship.

The confirmation put an end to months of speculation on where and when Joshua will fight next following Klitschko retirement.
